American broadcaster channel HBO confirmed
the end of the record-breaking drama series 'Game
of Thrones'; after its eight season in 2018.
Chief of HBO programming Casey Bloys made
this announcement.
The seventh episode will be released in
summer in the next year.
'Game of Thrones' is based on the novel "A Game of Thrones" written by George R.R. Martin.
The first season of 'Game of Thrones' was released on HBO on 17
April 2011 with 10 episodes.
Instead of usual 10 episodes, the seventh
season made up 7 episodes.
On 30th July 2016 in Beverly Hills, Casey
Bloys said, "the final season's episode number was yet to be determined.
He also saying, "We are open to it and (the producers) are not opposed to
it, but there is no concrete plans right now".
'Game of Thrones' won a record 12 Emmy Awards in the last
year.
